UT Dallas Team Finishes Fourth in Kasparov Tournament
The UT Dallas chess team finished fourth at the recent Kasparov Chess Foundation University Cup tournament. There were 125 teams and more than 500 students participating. The winning UT Dallas team consisted of IM Guillermo Vazquez, GM Razvan Preotu, GM Joshua Ruiz, GM Angel Lopez and IM Brian Escalante.
